Focusing on the well-being of patients
Bricon specialises in sophisticated spinal implants and the accompanying surgical instruments. Our products are developed and continually optimised in close collaboration with spinal surgeons. High-quality materials and excellent stability, combined with thoroughly conceived handling and a manageable set of instruments, are the focus of such developments, while drawing on extensive knowledge of biomechanics, material science and surface technologies, as well as new medical data and findings.
Creation of stability - for the patien's well-being
SHARK CP locking Plate for cervical spine
The SHARK CERVICAL Plate is a locking plate for the cervical spine. The system offers a good handling and broad range of applications.
Product diversity and design with a plate strength of only 1.95 mm and plate lengths of 22 mm to 110 mm and the small plate width of only 18 mm cover a large range of applications. This ensures a stable and secure fixation benefit for users and patients.
Depending on the indication, it is possible to absolutely and exactly position the fixation screws with variable or fixed angle by means of instruments or to lock them by means of a rotatable mechanism.
All of the implants and instruments of the SHARK CP locking Plate for cervical spine are supplied in a non-sterile package and are stored well-placed on the set.
SHARK PEEK ACIF Cage System
The SHARK PEEK ACIF Cage is manufactured by means of PEEK and has an anatomically optimised form for applications in the cervical fixation field for cervical spine.
It can be used as a single cage or as a cage/plate construct with an adaptable cervical spine plate. The three long titanium spikes are used as X-ray markers and ensure the fixed and secure cage positioning.
The available SHARK PEEK ACIF Cage range and the corresponding adaptable cervical spine plate in the appropriate size covers any required intervertebral spaces and allows for the spondylodesis of several segments.
All of the implants and instruments of the SHARK PEEK ACIF Cage System are supplied in a non-sterile package and well-placed on the set.
Best articulations with a sophisticated system
SERIFLEX MAKAIRA − Toploading system
The SERIFLEX MAKAIRA Toploading pedicle screw system is a low-profile and easy-to-use system persuading the user with its simple installation and good handling.
It is indicated for use in the thoracic and lumbar area of the spinal column.
The screw design with the large thread flanks and a self-cutting thread ensures the absolutely exact and simple positioning of the screw.
The screw and rod range covers any common sizes. SERIFLEX MAKAIRA is a non-cannulated pedicle screw system being preferably used for open and small access.
The implants and instruments are supplied in an unsterile package and well-placed on the set. Note: Implants with sterile packaging are being prepared.
SERIFLEX PEDICLE SCREW SYSTEM
Best articulations with a sophisticated system: The SERIFLEX pedicle screw system can be used in manifold cases regarding the lumbar and thoracic area of the spinal column.
The SERIFLEX system is a pedicle screw system with a convincing application due to its flexible use, simplicity and stability in the configuration area. All of the configurations result in an excellent surface clamping between the screw head and rod clip or eccentric disk of the lumbar or sacral plate thereby ensuring an optimal and stable fixation.
The SERIFLEX pedicle screw system comprises polyaxial and monoaxial pedicle screws that can be used for a wide range of indications – cannulated and laterally fenestrated. Screws, such as in case of osteoporotic bones, can also be fixed with bone cement by means of the adaptable Bone Filler Adapter.
The flexible options of the SERIFLEX pedicle screw system as screw/rod or screw/plate system enable the user to make a free decision regarding the correct combination for the respective indication and circumstances during the surgery.
The SERIFLEX Side Loading Systems range consists of screws and rods and covers any of the current sizes and functions. The implants and instruments are supplied in a non-sterile package and well-placed on the set.
BASIC PEEK PLIF Cage System
The BASIC PEEK PLIF Cage System is indicated for the immobilisation and stabilisation of the spinal column segments in addition to the fusion of the thoracic, lumbar and/or sacral spinal column.
The anatomic form and interlocking of the cages ensures a stable fixation in the intervertebral space. The four X-ray markers made of titanium ensure a good visualisation of the positioning of the cages under X-ray control. Both of the two large oval holes in the cage enable the user to fill in bone transplant or bone replacement materials for a better and faster fusion.
The BASIC PEEK PLIF Cage range covers any common sizes. The implants and instruments are supplied in a non-sterile package and well-placed on the set.
